B.Tech Biotechnology is an under-graduate engineering program. Biotechnology is the combination of biology and technology and it is an applied science. Biotechnology is the study of Biology from a technological perspective. Biotechnology is the study of biological processes and their usage for industrial purposes like studying microorganisms and utilize the knowledge for development of antibiotics, medicines etc. Biotechnology is a course that utilizes concepts of Biology and Technology to develop trained professionals in the field of Biotechnology. Biotechnology syllabus is designed to expose the students to recent exciting developments in the area of Biotechnology and their application in industry, agriculture and medicine.

Pass 12th class examination with at least 50% marks in all the subjects.
