B. Tech Petroleum Engineering is a field of engineering offering various specialized courses that deals with the production of hydrocarbons, which are natural gas or crude oil. The technical field of petroleum engineering requires the detailed understanding of the physical properties of oil, gas, and water along with the process of oil exploration and processing of crude oils.  Petroleum engineering deals with other major engineering courses, such as mechanical, chemical and civil. Eligibility

B.Tech Petroleum engineering requires a minimum 12th class examination pass in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry stream with a high percentage of marks. Students can also pursue M.Tech in petroleum engineering after the successful completion of B.Tech petroleum engineering and can also goes for research-based studies after post- graduation.
